GloCha Global Challenges Action Network

At GloCha we believe in the power of the global citizen – and especially the creativity, passion, ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of youth – to tackle the global climate change crisis and to build a better world. But in order for all these wonderful human potentials to add to the common good on local and global levels, there is a need for empowerment and an enabling ecosystem that supports individual action for the common good with knowledge, technology, funding and inspiring and rewarding culture. GloCha is a multi-stakeholder partnership of individuals and public and private institutions on all levels of societal organization (local, sub-national, national and international) to collaborate together to empower citizens' and especially youth. GloCha creates opportunities for youth, social entrepreneurs and local communities to collaborate for a safe climate and just society. GloCha’s three pillars are culture, technology, and organizational innovation. GloCha cultivates improved solutions to global challenges with the UN accredited (ECOSOC and UNFCCC) sister organization IAAI (International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges). As institutional vehicles for this enabling ecosystem we have established the GloCha United Citizens Organization for Action for Climate Empowerment as a blockchain based quasi-international organization (https://www.glocha.org/united-citizens-organization-announcement-at-cop26/) & GloCha GLOBAL CHALLENGES FOUNDATION NEW YORK INC (an US IRS recognized 501c3 public charity).
