glokal is İstanbul based architectural office, focusing on many scales of the design from architectural to interior and furniture together with the experience in design, construction and management. Our design principle is based on glocal design thinking which is a hybrid concept that refers successful integration of local and global features. Local brings contextual understanding in the terms of geographic, socio-cultural, economic, environmental, material, construction techniques, building forms, and systems; whereas global indicates a service of a world-class standard with a blending of worldwide-accepted methods. Our design ambition comes from experimenting with new elements in each project with a glokal perspective.
