Global Omani Development & Investment Company SAOC (GLOREI) was formed in March 2008 as a closed joint stock company. It has its headquarters in Muscat, Oman. The need to capitalize on Oman’s hugely untapped market and government policies where Oman is diversifying away from hydrocarbons and building its non-oil sector under the longterm economic road map, “Vision 2020”, led to the formation of GLOREI. Its real estate projects include developments of all kinds industrial, commercial, hospitality, mix use, retail, residential, etc. The architecture and design of its projects vary and have contemporary, traditional or a mix of both elements. Maintaining the highest possible standards, GLOREI is a strong supporter of using local made products. One of the reasons for this is that the product would have to travel less distance thereby reducing the carbon footprint and effectively contributing to the cause of sustainability. But, it also believes in the use of latest technology stressing on the importance of quality yet ensuring cost effectiveness.
