Pursuing this mission, GlucoGear developed an Artificial Intelligence to predict Blood Glucose curve hours ahead and identify risks of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. Consequently we can optimize insulin dosage and recommend preventive actions to avoid adverse effects. This new preventive approach enable to improve clinical outcome and quality of life of T1D patients, while decreasing hospitalization and treatment costs. This intelligence may be integrated to a Mobile App like our own, GlucoTrends app, embedded on medical devices like Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) and Insulin Pumps or being the intelligence behind an Artificial Pancreas, adding predictive and personalized recommendations to those devices.
