Gmis International

Gmis International company information, Employees & Contact Information

GMIS International - An Association of Government IT Leaders was formed on April 21, 1971. Representatives of member agencies work together for the common good of their agencies and themselves professionally. They share strategies, problems, policies, and solutions. GMIS International membership is comprised of government agencies, NOT individuals. These agencies come from government or educational institutions involved in IT at all levels of state, county, or local government. One "agency membership" provides the privileges of membership to ALL employees of the agency. While member agencies differ in many aspects, they form a homogeneous group with similar interests in providing quality services to their citizens. GMIS International has a reach of over 1500 representatives from member agencies with representation in 33 states and "sister organizations" in six countries. GMIS International sponsors the formation of chapters to enable representatives within a geographical area to develop closer relationships and foster the spirit and intent of GMIS International through cooperation, assistance, and mutual support. For additional information or GMIS contacts in your area, please call (877-963-GMIS), e-mail (headquarters@gmis.org), or visit the GMIS website (www.gmis.org). We invite and encourage you to participate in this unique group of professionals!
