GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Ltd. (MRO Division), doing business in the name of GMR Aero Technic (GAT) is wholly owned subsidiary of GHIAL, which is a GMR Group company. GAT is a leading Airframe Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility based at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, India. GAT is having DGCA-India, EASA, FAA-US and approvals from 17 other countries.
GAT provides complete maintenance support to airline operators including painting of the aircraft and ensures that customers meet their operational timelines. GAT is committed to provide on-time deliveries with its comprehensive and integrated MRO solutions.
Base Maintenance:
GAT has got the capability and approvals to perform base maintenance on B737 NG Family, A320 Family, Bombardier Q400 and ATR 42/72. GAT is having dedicated paint hangar to perform painting.

GAT’s current customer base includes domestic airline such as Indigo, Go Air, SpiceJet, Jet Airways, Vistara, AirAsia India, TruJet and International Airlines such as Oman Air, Salam Air, Flydubai, Flynas, Golden Myanmar Airlines, Rotana Jet, Hello Air, US Bangla, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Air Arabia, Jade Global, Alpha star Aviation services and NOK Air.
In addition to the commercial airlines, GAT has provided maintenance services to key Lessors like GECAS, AWAS, BBAM, Investec, Air Castle, Avolon, Goshawk, MCAP, Arena Aviation Capital, Aergo Capital, ALAFCO, AerCap, PEMBROKE, BOC Aviation, Castlelake, Carlyle Aviation, Orix Aviation, Aviation Capital Group.
Line Maintenance:
GAT is presently providing line maintenance services at HYD, DEL, KTM, MAA, LKO, CCJ. GAT’s Line Maintenance customers are Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Salam Air, Air Arabia, Flynas, Azerbaijan, Sichuan Airlines, Avia Traffic, Tajik Air and Jazeera Airways.
GAT has established partnership with Part G and Part J approved agencies for cabin interiors including Galley and Lav repairs to provide one stop solution to customers.
