Gadjah Mada Robotic Team (also known as GMRT) is a robotics team from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with 97 students from Universitas Gadjah Mada. We participate in KRI (Kontes Robot Indonesia), Trinity College International Fire Fighting Robot Contest, and 2018 International Robot Contest (IRC) in South Korea, all of which are worldwide robotics organizations that include many teams and students.
Our robotics program encourages innovation and fosters well-rounded life skills including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. As a non-profit organization running a high-budget program, we rely on sponsor donations, both in-kind and cash, to continue the work we do.
