Gnaan Foundation

Gnaan Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Bengaluru, India, dedicated to making education accessible and meaningful for underserved communities. We believe that personal engagement in learning—one child, one hour at a time—can create lasting change, far beyond what administrative interventions alone can achieve. Our work focuses on direct educational support, including weekly tutoring sessions in government schools, donation of books and learning materials, and the provision of basic infrastructure to enrich the learning environment. We aim to nurture holistic development through initiatives like: “Fun Under Sun”, an annual summer camp that blends creativity, sports, and learning to foster curiosity and confidence. “Utsav”, an inter-school cultural festival that celebrates diversity, talent, and community spirit. Gnaan Institute of Vocational Education, a free computer training center that equips youth with digital literacy and employable skills. School library setups, improving access to knowledge and cultivating a love for reading. With over one million primary school teachers needed nationwide (as per government statistics), Gnaan Foundation strives to fill this gap through community-led, volunteer-driven efforts. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring the gift of knowledge to those who need it most, in the most personal and impactful way possible.
