GoChem is een nieuw publiek-privaat programma dat fungeert als innovatieversneller voor groene chemie in het mkb in samenwerking met de hele kennisketen: HBO, TO2s en WO. GoChem schept randvoorwaarden en verbetert en versnelt de toegang tot kennis, kapitaal, talent en ondersteuning voor mkb georiënteerde R&D- en innovatieprojecten en samenwerkingsverbanden.
De initiatiefnemers en partners zijn de Topsector Chemie, Regieorgaan SIA, NWO, TKI Chemie, TKI Biobased Economy, InnovatieLink, Ministerie EZK, het Landelijk Kennisnetwerk/Lectorenplatform Biobased Economy, Domein Applied Sciences, TO2 instituten Wageningen Research en TNO, de VNCI en federatie NRK.
GoChem kent een ondersteunend 'virtueel' programmateam met mensen uit bestaande organisaties en een 'eigen' financieel instrument (gefinancierd door NWO/SIA).
