The primary mission of Goda Lab is to produce "serendipity-enabling technologies" that realize Louis Pasteur's famous quote "Chance (serendipity) favors the prepared mind". Specifically, we aim to develop novel tools for molecular imaging and spectroscopy by integrating photonics, nanotechnology, microfluidics, and data science, use them to discover unknown phenomena, elucidate mechanisms, and exploit a new class of applications in science, industry, and medicine. We make the maximum use of theoretical, experimental, and computational techniques to work on critical problems. Another equally important mission of Goda Lab is to produce global leaders who will shape the world of the 21st century. We support an international and interdisciplinary research environment and flat human relationships and always look for talented individuals from any university or company in any field.
