Paras Mal Bhutoria and later by their next generation Mr. Indraj Mal Bhutoria and Mr. Kamal Singh Bhutoria, we have been in the business of coal trading since last two decades. Due to the ethical values embedded in the promoters and the hard work which they have put into the business the company has grown from strength to strength. As the process of Spot E-Auction of coal started by CIL, the company took the opportunity and grew leaps and bounds from a turnover of Rs.218.37 Crores in F.Y. 2009-10 to Rs.1500 Crores in F.Y. 2017-18. It has created a strong reputation with Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries and overseas coal miners/suppliers on the basis of the professionalism and strong business acumen of the promoters. Since inception, we have acquired a wide range of expertise, developed sourcing relationships and created a strong logistics network to emerge as India’s leading coal and coke trader. We are starting the most exciting phase of our development so far, creating an international and integrated infrastructure business having three components: mining, logistics and trading. As the demand of coal was growing at an increasing rate and CIL failed to grow in tandem, the era of import of coal started. The company took its advantage and became a dominant player in trading of imported coal and has developed strong collaboration and affiliations with overseas miners, suppliers. We also provide logistic services to the renowned power houses for movement of coal from colliery to their plant by Road cum Rail Mode. We have not remained limited to trading and logistical service of coal, but also became 50% promoter of Trans Damodar Coal Mining (P) Ltd (TDCMPL), a SPV who had undertaken the job of Mine Developer Cum Operator of TDCMPL of West Bengal Mineral Development & Trading Corporation Ltd. Thus the company has becomes a single stop solution.
