The Goethe-Institut Madrid represents German culture in Spain. Our mission includes promoting the German language and fostering international cultural cooperation. We provide a comprehensive perspective on Germany, exploring its cultural, social, and political life. Our cultural and educational programmes promote intercultural dialogue, strengthen societal structures, and facilitate global mobility. In collaboration with our local partners, we support cultural institutions, artists, universities, schools, local authorities, and businesses interested in the German language and culture. We offer German courses and official examinations, specialised training for teachers, and a variety of cultural events. Additionally, our library boasts a wide selection of resources and books.
