GOGUTSA is a menswear brand rooted in legacy, craftsmanship, and intentional design. Inspired by the story of Gogutsa Janashia — a master tailor in 1960s — the brand honors her enduring dream: to create elegant, meaningful clothing for men. Though Gogutsa faced limitations that prevented her from becoming a fashion designer, her legacy lives on through her granddaughter Maia Gorgiladze and great-granddaughter Mariam Midelashvili, who co-founded the brand in her name. GOGUTSA is their tribute to her quiet strength, resilience, and timeless taste. Each garment reflects the brand’s values — heritage, form, and refinement — and draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, embracing simplicity, imperfection, and character.
