شرکت گروه صنعتی گلبافت در سال 1348 تاسیس و تحت شماره 13296 به ثبت رسید و در طی 48 سال فعالیت درجهت تولید و عرضه محصولات متنوع و با کیفیت در زمینه نساجی گام برداشته است. باتوجه به اینکه نوآفرینی و تنوع یکی از اصول اساسی شرکت گروه صنعتی گلبافت از ابتدای تاسیس تاکنون بوده، طی سالها فعالیت، محصولات بسیار متنوع و نو توسط این شرکت به بازار عرضه شده است. تولیدات شرکت انواع گلدوزی، چرم مصنوعی، جیر مصنوعی (قالیچه، روبالشی، تابلوهای مذهبی و لباسی) و لائی چسب بود که بالاخره در سال 1373 برای اولین بار در ایران تولید پتوی راشل باکیفیت را آغاز و توانست با بهره گیری از تکنولوژی پیشرفته این نوع پتو را در اندازه و طرح ورنگ متنوع متناسب با ذوق وسلیقه هموطنان عزیز ارائه نماید. وضمن تامین نیاز داخلی کشور با صادرات این محصولات، توانست خود را در جهان مطرح نموده و طی چند سال متوالی اولین صادر کننده محصولات غیر نفتی در استان اصفهان باشد
