Gold Coast IT Solutions (GCIT) was founded in the Dulles Technology Corridor – the Silicon Valley of the East. The team had spent years immersed in IT startup culture, and were impressed by the values they saw there: agility, creativity, and a focus on tangible product goals. They decided to co-found a services firm based on these principles, offering digital transformation initiatives that matched their clients’ focus on innovation and industry-specific expertise.
During the early years of the company, healthcare in America was going through a radical transformation, due to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the emergence of frameworks such as value-based medicine. Our team knew that with their combined skill-sets, they could be at the vanguard of this change. They could drive maximum innovation for healthcare companies, and an easier, streamlined healthcare experience for patients.
During these years of dynamic, ever-evolving healthcare engagements, GCIT learned how to truly understand an industry’s unique needs around specialized tech stacks, standards and certifications. With this experience in hand, we deepened our skill of tailoring digital transformation initiatives to the specific needs of other industries.
