What is Golf Broker? In its simplest form, Golf Broker is eBay for tee-times; an auction house to purchase tee-times and golf packages across the United States. Why Golf Broker? For years, tee-times have been booked the same way, each and every day; call the golf shop or go online and buy a tee-time at the “rack rate”. Or maybe you can find a discount somewhere. Either way, golfers pay what they must. That is what makes Golf Broker so different; it puts power in the hands of consumers, golfers, to pay what they want for a tee-time. With an auction format, tee-time pricing starts at a minimum threshold, set by the course, and allows the golfer to increase the value of the tee-time by bidding on it. And therein lays the power of Golf Broker for golf courses. Rather than setting an outrageously low price and giving it to the first buying customer, courses can create value through an auction. As more golfers bid on a single tee-time, the price goes up. At the end of the auction, a golf group gets a good deal on a tee-time, they set the final price after all, and the golf course has received a better rate than they could have through straight discount pricing. How does Golf Broker work? Golf Broker partners directly with golf courses to provide tee-times.
