Gone for Good is an easy-to-use, free-to-download smartphone app that makes charity donations simple and straightforward for donors and charities alike. Donors can use the app to take photos of the items they want to donate, match with a local charity shop that uses Gone for Good, and schedule a pick-up at a time and place that suits them best.
Through our app, charities get more control over what they do and don’t accept into their store. Able to opt-out of product categories, focus on items that bring the best returns, or reject lower-quality items, Gone for Good also prevents overstocking and minimises waste being sent to landfill.
Our goal is to strengthen the retail charity sector, giving second chances to more items, providing them to people who need them most, increasing charity profits for worthy causes, and improving everyone’s knowledge and interest in the charity sector.
