As a social enterprise, we are passionate about change. Our aim is to bring Nanofilter® to the world, a unique & affordable filtration system that uses nanotechnology to remove 99.999% of contaminants from water, including bacteria, viruses & chemicals. Nanofilter® has won numerous international awards, including those from the WHO & the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Currently installed in 127 public kiosks, more than 1000 households & around 100 private institutions (schools, universities etc.), Nanofilter® directly benefits 250,000 people each day in Tanzania, Kenya & Zambia. However, with our latest 'Thirst For Life' campaign, we are committed to installing a further 1000 Nanofilter® kiosks across Africa by 2022. To raise awareness for our cause, we are partnering with ultra-endurance athlete Veronique Bourbeau as she attempts to run the length of the African continent, from Alexandria to Cape Town.
