Gonio VR allows for a faster screening and monitoring of shoulderpatients so that the physical therapist knows which patitents are in need of more 1-on-1 time and which patients can train independently.
Gonio VR can measure range of motion (abduction) about 5 to 10 times faster than the traditional goniometer.
Since Gonio VR makes physical therapy exercises into games, people play more. And the more they play the faster they recover from shoulder injuries and strokes.
Gonio VR is at a stage where patients can train on their own with in a few times trying it. With the system guiding them the can train them selves with at very high quality of exercise.
Within a very short time patients will even be able to bring our technology home with them. Physical therapists will then be able to follow up on their patients remotely.
