GÖSTA Studentförening

GÖSTA Student Association is a non-profit organization run by dedicated students with a long history of connecting IT students with relevant employers. We are proud to have contributed to the successful careers of generations of IT students. Since 1993, we have assisted students in their career development by providing valuable opportunities to meet people and create valuable connections. Our vision is to build strong and lasting relationships between students and thriving IT companies that together reach new heights. How we do it: Annual career days: We host an annual career day, providing hundreds of students the chance to connect with company representatives. During the day, students can make contacts, participate in competitions, and gain valuable insights into current industry trends and needs. Guest lectures and case nights: We regularly invite and visit inspiring companies from the industry to allow students to learn more about specific companies, roles, and career paths Collaborations through marketing: We facilitate connections between students and companies in and outside the IT industry who aim to enhance their employer brand with upcoming IT leaders. We achieve this through diverse marketing projects, all aimed at bringing students closer to the working world before and after the GÖSTA fair. ---- The association has its premises in the same building as the Gothenburg IT faculty and the members study various bachelor's or master's programs in IT.
