Gotham Biotech is a new startup specializing in the development of ELISA based immunodiagnostic assays and in the noninvasive detection of fungal pneumonia pathogens, headquartered in Portland, Maine. Our goal is to design rapid non-invasive assays to support the medical diagnostics community as well as collaborate on research and development projects.
Our scientific team has over 30 years of academic and industrial experience in the development of several immunodiagnostic formats. Particularly across medical, veterinary and environmental applications. We have extensive expertise in the field of rapid assay for the detection of human respiratory pathogens.
Gotham Biotech laboratories have the the facilities to develop ELISA based immunodiagnostics and rapid lateral flow immunodiagnostic platforms. We have the resources to support collaborative efforts and contract research with other entities.
Gotham Biotech welcomes collaborative opportunities with central reference laboratories interested in expanding their clinical testing portfolio. Additionally, we are interested in contract research opportunities. We have expertise in all immunodiagnostic assay formats across medical, veterinary and environmental applications.
We have expertise in developing rapid assay diagnostics including lateral flow immunodiagnostic systems.
Gotham Biotech has developed strong collaborative associations with ARUP Laboratories and the Mayo Clinic in an effort to evaluate a new ELISA for Detection of Blastomycesdermatitidis antigen in urine. Our products include an ELISA test for the detection of Blastomyces urinary antigen and a test for the detection of Blastomyces serum antigen.
We have also worked closely with the Bay Area Lyme Research Foundation in Portola Valley, California in developing our Lyme Disease test.
Currently we are working on promising preliminary research for direct detection of Lyme Disease and Borrelia burgdorferi urinary antigen.
