About Girls on the Run of Bexar County

Girls on the Run is a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The Bexar County council began in 2010 when a group of women with a passion for running and an even bigger passion for empowering girls came together with a mission to bring Girls on the Run to San Antonio.
