We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Volunteer coaches lead teams of 3rd-8th-grade girls over an 8-week program.
Our program develops life skills and culminates with the girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
Girls on the Run offers two separate and distinct programs: Girls on the Run for girls in 3rd-5th grade and Heart & Sole, our middle school program for girls in 6th-8th grade. We offer both programs in the Fall and Spring for Carroll, Columbiana, Mahoning, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne Counties.
