Governance Education Network

Governance Education Network (GEN) is a student-led society of the Department of Governance and Public Policy at NUML, Islamabad. GEN serves as a dynamic platform for students to explore policy, leadership, communication, and civic engagement through structured activities and collaborative initiatives. GEN operates through five specialized wings: • Event Management Wing – Organizes seminars, guest talks, and institutional collaborations. • Writing & Publication Wing – Hosts essay competitions, book readings, policy brief sessions, and documentation. • Social Media Wing – Manages departmental outreach, visual content creation, and digital campaigns. • Creative Activities Wing – Engages students in debates, field visits, community outreach, and awareness drives. • Character Building Wing – Promotes personality development, ethics, and professional conduct through targeted programs. The society emphasizes student empowerment, leadership development, and interdisciplinary learning, contributing to a vibrant academic and civic culture within the department.
