GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC AHMEDNAGAR

Government Polytechnic, Ahmednagar established in 1990 and affiliated to MSBTE, had celebrated silver jubilee in 2014. The institute is approved by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). At present, the institute is offering Three Year Diploma Courses in the following faculties. • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering • Instrumentation Engineering • Computer Technology • Production Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Computer Engineering The institute has excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, training and placement cell, class rooms, girl's and boy's hostel. The institute has a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties and non-teaching staff devoted to achieve excellence in every activity of the institute. Apart from regular curriculum, the institute takes care of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to build its student ‘a complete engineer’. The institute is spread over 17.39 acres in the heart of historical city of Ahmednagar which is the only Government polytechnic institute in the district. Ahmednagar is situated about 120 km from Pune and 114 km from Aurangabad.
