GOWS Japan is an international comprehensive event on offshore wind power held annually in Japan by JWPA and GWEC. The event will be held in collaboration with local governments in areas of Japan that are seeking to promote offshore wind power generation.
The concepts of this event are: 1) to exchange opinions on the various issues surrounding offshore wind power in Japan, 2) to realize domestic and international industrial exchange in offshore wind power, and 3) to promote local understanding and develop human resources in offshore wind development areas.
GOWS-Japan 2024 was a great success, welcoming over 800 visitors at the Sapporo Convention Center on September 3-4, 2024. GOWS-J 2025 will be held in Akita City from October 15th to 17th. Details of the event will be posted on LinkedIn in due course. I look forward to having a meaningful exchange of opinions with you all in Akita.
GOWS Japan は、日本においてJWPAとGWECにより毎年開催される洋上風力発電の国際総合イベントです。このイベントは、日本の洋上風力発電を推進しようとする地域において、そこの自治体と連携して開催されます。
このイベントのコンセプトは、①日本の洋上風力の諸課題に向けての意見交換、②洋上風力における国内外の産業交流の実現、③洋上風力開発地域における地元理解の促進と人材育成、です。
GOWS-Japan 2024は、2024年9月3-４日に札幌コンベンションセンターで800人以上の来場者により成功を収めました。2025年は10月15日から17日まで秋田市で開催されます、
