GP10 is taking a European style academy approach to competitive youth sports. How goal is to develop outstanding people with qualities that will help them succeed beyond the court.
Unlike traditional 'AAU' programs, our focus is not 'winning games so scouts can see our kids, and get a D-1 Scholarship'. How focus is developing foundational skills that will allow every player the best opportunity to MAKE THEIR SCHOOL TEAM.
We believe to help our kids achieve the best results, you must be transparent and open - that is why every player receives an evaluation of their skills, as well as guidance from their coaches on what most to focus on.
We call these our Foundational Roles:
The Disruptor - Responsible for wrecking the other teams plans, and making the most out of their efforts. Dennis Rodman.
The Attacker - Responsible for generating momentum, moving the ball up court and creating space for others. Chris Paul
The Finisher - Responsible for creating open space, making their shots, or finding the open player. Steph Curry
The Facilitator - Responsible for creating motion and rhythm on the team, acting as the focal point of the offense. Nikola Jokic
