Galbraith Pritchards provides an extensive range of business advice, accounting, auditing and taxation services throughout Scotland and beyond.
The firm was formed in 2010 as an amalgamation of two former practices of Chartered Accountants. Pritchards was established in 1926 and Galbraith McEwan & Co. in 1940.
Between the three partners we have a wealth of experience in all areas of accountancy taxation and audit. Our primary business is as advisors to owner managed and family businesses and in assisting individuals to mitigate their tax liabilities.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland regulates and monitors the core activities of the firm. This requires adherence to a strict code of professional ethics for Chartered Accountants aimed at protection of both the interests of the Firm but also of the clients and the public interest at large.
Clients from business and non business sectors including charities benefit from the expertise and experience of everyone in the firm.
We employ 31 people and are one of the largest independent firms in the West of Scotland. We believe our staff are our biggest asset and we therefore continue to invest in maintaining and developing their professional and technical skills.
We are a registered training office of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and also of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
We aim to fully understand our clients’ needs, help identify opportunities and threats to their activities and recommend practical responses. We offer a friendly, personal service, tailored to specific requirements and with access to the appropriate staff or partner at all times.
