GPQ Sdn. Bhd. or formerly known as Gabongan Pemborong Quarry Sdn. Bhd. is a wholly-owned Bumiputera construction company that was incorporated in 1978. The company is one of the subsidiary companies of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. (Terengganu Inc), which is the main investment arm of the State of Terengganu.
The company registered with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK) in class ‘A’, CIDB G7. GPQ Sdn. Bhd. Involved in infrastructure projects, owned property development 42 acres of granite-rich land for the industry in Kampung Sungai Serai, Bukit Payong, Terengganu and premix plant adjacent to the quarry.
Since its inception, the company has been involved in various projects ranging from infrastructure works to high rise buildings which worth more than RM500 million. All those projects indeed speak well for the company’s steadfast commitments in the construction industry.
