STORY goes back to Geetha's childhood years in Malaysia where plantain chips were as ubiquitous as potato chips in N. America. Moving to the US meant an exciting new chapter in her life but also having to bid farewell to such beloved comfort foods as plantain chips. Geetha's mom, while visiting the US, stumbled upon raw plantains at a food-store and exclaimed in surprise. Here was an opportunity to see if they could bring back a slice of that Asian childhood! Today, Geetha combines her considerable experience in corporate America with her love for cooking (with identifiable ingredients) to introduce her favorite snack food to new markets and generations.
