GradSkills: Graduate Opportunities in West Yorkshire

GradSkills courses are fully funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and aim to identify and strengthen your understanding of the job market and soft skills, such as interpersonal communication and leadership. Throughout a GradSkills course, you will be provided with the opportunity to engage with employers, network with like-minded graduates and work with a careers coach to put you in the best position to gain graduate employment in the West Yorkshire region. Jumpstart your Career: This flexible online course is aimed at elevating your current skill set and preparing you for new employment. It consists of eight online modules, covering key decision-making and job-seeking skills, such as understanding recruitment practices and your strengths and motivations, and professional skills such as leadership, project management and communication. You can complete this course remotely at your own pace, with optional in-person modules, employer events, and personalised coaching. Register here - https://gradskills.tovuti.io/ Graduate Accelerator: If you prefer structured one-to-one support and face-to-face training, our new Graduate Accelerator course offers you up to five one-on-one coaching sessions with an experienced coach and guidance practitioner. Over the course of the rest of the programme, you’ll be required to attend 3-5 hours of one-to-one coaching, and six hours of training, either as a one-day event or as two three-hour sessions.
