Grammangal

Grammangal was founded in 1982 to provide holistic education to the rural and tribal children of Palghar and Dahanu Talukas of Thane District. From a modest beginning in 1982 with a small school to provide holistic and meaningful education to tribal children in Dabhon village in Dahanu Taluka, Grammangal has developed and implemented teaching-learning methodologies that are strongly grounded in well-established principles of Cognitive Science, Child Development and Learning. A crucial objective of Grammangal’s methodologies is to provide joyful and enriching learning experiences to children using methodologies based on the principles of contructivism. Grammangal’s innovative approach and practices have gained wide recognition and acceptance. They have been adopted by several schools and school systems to benefit thousands of children in Maharashtra and other parts of India. Presently, Grammangal is deeply involved in several Teacher Training and Education Quality Improvement Program .The organization aims to expand its footprints in the field of primary education to improve the learning levels of more and more children.
