We are Granite Publications, a family of 19 community newspapers and two printing facilities located in towns across the state of Texas. With more than 35 years in the newspaper business, we are committed to providing excellent community journalism. Our newspapers provide a snapshot of the communities we serve. We continuously strive to produce quality newspapers in all facets of the business - editorial, advertising, digital, production and distribution - while maintaining excellent community relations. We are proud that our newspaper group has maintained our family approach to newspaper publishing. Our company motto reflects these efforts by simply saying, "Do it right!" Our community newspaper staffs are some of the best in the state: groupwide, we have won many awards from regional press associations, the Texas Press Association and the National Newspaper Association, as well as the Associated Press Managing Editors (APME) Association.
