ABOUT US We are a solid group of investors who believe in the need of generating new projects of renewable energy in Ecuador. Gransolar S.A aims to develop, manage and implement projects for power generation through photovoltaic energy. WHY RENEWABLE ENERGY? Primary sources of energy such as oil, coal and natural gas are certain to be exhausted. In addition, its removal is detrimental to the environment. Thus, in the last few decades the goal has been to generate power with other sources that are less polluting and inexhaustible such as solar. SUSTAINABLE ENERGY Hundreds of nations around the world, have launched a technological shift towards renewable energy. The conventional power involves a high degree of contamination. Photovoltaic energy, on the other hand, has the ability to meet existing needs without compromising the resources of future generations. In Latin American countries, like Ecuador there is great potential for solar energy. _______ ¿QUIÉNES SOMOS? Somos un grupo de inversionistas que cree en la necesidad de generar proyectos de energía renovable. Gransolar S.A tiene como objetivo desarrollar, dirigir y ejecutar proyectos de generación eléctrica a través de fuentes de energía solar. ¿POR QUÉ ENERGÍA RENOVABLE? Las energías primarias como el petróleo, carbón y gas natural están determinadas a agotarse. Además, su extracción es perjudicial para el medio ambiente. Es así que, en las últimas décadas el objetivo se ha concentrado en generar energía con otras fuentes que sean menos contaminantes e inagotables como la solar. ENERGÍA SUSTENTABLE El suministro eléctrico convencional supone un alto grado de contaminación, a diferencia de la energía fotovoltaica que tiene la capacidad de satisfacer las necesidades existentes sin comprometer los recursos de futuras generaciones. La plusvalía: proviene de una fuente renovable. En países Latinoamericanos, como es el caso de Ecuador, existe un gran potencial energético solar.
