Founded in 1989 in Hajdukovo, a village in northern Serbia, “Suncokret ltd” has grown from a small family company for the production of cold pressed oils and seed butters to one of the leading health food companies in the region.
The first products, Virgin Pumpkin Seed Oil and Toasted Sesame Oil were produced on a 100-yearold hydraulic press.
As of 2014, “Suncokret” has introduced a new brand name “Granum”.
Today the company produces more than 20 different edible, cosmetic and medicinal oils, seed and nut butters, and has developed an assortment of over 60 products including balsamic vinegars, protein powders, seed bars. The most recent addition is sweet and savory gluten-free protein crackers. They are vegan and gluten-free company.
“Suncokret” maintained initial idea of delicious food production by ensuring integrity in terms of quality, ingredients sourcing, technology and business professionalism.
Suncokret’s products were the first to be certified organic by TERRAS, Serbia’s first certifying agency.
Currently certified by Ecocert, they export to countries across Europe: Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
