GRAPE jest niezależnym, pozarządowym ośrodkiem badawczym prowadzonym przez FAME. Gościmy grupę utalentowanych naukowców, którzy starają się prowadzić badania na najwyższym poziomie naukowym (w tym serię working papers). Od utworzenia w 2011 roku, FAME|GRAPE rozwija badania dotyczące nierówności, systemów emerytalnych, efektywnej alokacji zasobów, stosowanej makroekonomii oraz ekonomii kultury. Nasze programy badawcze realizowane są poprzez projekty naukowe, bo główym źródłem finansowania GRAPE są granty naukowe. Dbamy o rzetelność i transparentność naszych badań otwarcie dzieląc się danymi i metodologią badań. Nasze umiejętności obejmują: * modelowanie skutków starzenia się społeczeństw, wpływu tego procesu na demografię i procesy makroekonomiczne * analizę danych jednostkowych, np. dotyczących gospodarstw domowych i osób * badania eksperymentalne w terenie, laboratorium oraz online. Wyniki badań próbujemy przykładać do otaczającej wszystkich rzeczywistości, promując polityki oparte na wiedzy. To podejście stoi także za naszą obecnością w mediach: m.in. piszemy felietony dla Dziennika Gazeta Prawna i uczestniczymi w wielu wydarzeniach zorientowanych na podnoszenie jakości polityki gospodarczej (m.in. Open Eyes Economy Summit, Risks and Trends). W analizowaniu polityk gospodarczych współpracujemy z The World Bank, OECD, ING, EY i polskimi organizacjami pozarządowymi (IBS, CenEA). ------------------ GRAPE is an independent, non-governmental research center in applied economics operated by FAME. We house a cheerful crew of accomplished academics and brilliant adepts and strive to produce high quality academic research (including working papers). Since its foundation in 2011, FAME|GRAPE develops research programs in economics of inequality, pension systems, efficiency and misallocation, applied macroeconomics and cultural economics. Each research program is organized in projects, because GRAPE is financed through scientific grants. In the interest of academic integrity and transparency, we openly share data and methods. In addition to scientific research, GRAPE crew translates its academic experience to addressing social policy issues in Poland. Our pro bono policy projects are always based on rigorous research and draw on earlier experience from specific research projects. Our key competences include: * modeling of aging, its fiscal and macroeconomic consequences * analysis of individual and household data * field, laboratory and online experiments. Mainstreaming of research results and promoting evidence-based-policy stands behind our presence in media: we write a weekly op-ed for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and participate in many policy-oriented events (including Open Eyes Economy Summit, Risks and Trends, and many others). In policy projects, we cooperate with The World Bank, OECD, ING, EY and Polish NGOs (IBS, CenEA).
