Agro-ecological Coaching, Consultancy & Education services designed to support farmers in achieving truly resilient profitable systems by taking a context specific soil centric approach to your farming operation. As a coach, it is about helping you figure out how to take the handbrake off and unlock the potential of your agribusiness. I am also a farmer, so I understand from first hand experience the challenges, practicalities and systems that make real farms tick.
Despite the name “Grassfed Farmer” I can support farmers across all farming enterprises. I work with clients across a range of scales 40ha - 2500ha, in both conventional and organic systems…the link is in the soil.
My coaching / consultancy offering has been greatly influenced by Integrity Soils after completing “CREATE Yellowstone 2024”. This programme led by Nicole Masters, is the world’s most in-depth training in agro-ecological systems thinking.
Over the last fifteen years I have strategically integrated practical farming experience with a broad network across the supply chain, and extensive training in agro-ecological systems. My farming journey began on the family dairy farm and kiwi fruit orchards in New Zealand, grounding me in lean, profitable, year-round grazing systems. In the UK, I have managed farms in both commercial and direct selling models and was farm manager at FAI Farms during their seminal “AMP Grazing” research project. I now farm in the Cotswolds with my business partner at “Cotswold Cattle Company”. Cattle Co focuses on collaborating with landowners to increase natural capital through integrating our cattle into arable systems, whilst building a food brand (smash burgers) for our farming operations to feed into.
Currently based in the UK, I am positioned to work with farms and organisations globally. I dream big, with a mission to achieve landscape & community regeneration on 5 million hectares over my lifetime.
