About Grasshopper Carnival - Gunns Plains Tasmania

It’s grasshopper season! Get the family together for a great day out and head down to Gunns Plains for some family fun. There will be entertainment, stalls, fishing competitions, live music, food & refreshments, rides and much more. It is a free family event and the owners of Wings Wildlife Park kindly donate part of their camping ground along the river bank and amenities facilities. The day provides food and beverage, entertainment and activities for all ages. We are always keen to hear from those who can assist in providing these services, would like to sponsor or offer assistance in the lead up to and the running of the day.
