As an Ethics & Compliance / Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) consultant, I help protecting company’s assets and business continuity by fostering a culture of Ethics & Compliance and integrity, and designing, implementing and overseeing an effective compliance program within the company so to ensure compliance with societal, legal and company internal expectations, rules and regulations. Key to operational sustainability and part of ESG strategy, robust E&C program and reporting fosters company’s reputation and valuation. As part of my services, I work across the following pillars Prevention - Define methodology and conduct of company’s risk assessment at enterprise, affiliates and related to third parties - Monitoring of societal trends and rules and regulations relevant to company’s business operations - Definition of E&C work plan as risk management strategies, reflective on company’s unique culture and operations - Development of policies and procedures setting up external and internal standards and expectations, and securing compliance and controls « by design » in company’s operations - Development and provision of company and third parties training and education program - Partnering and advising leadership and project teams, providing strategic direction on compliance Detection - Coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations - Developing policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties, without fear of retaliation - Performing compliance review and monitoring activities and development of detective, prescriptive and predictive analytics - Preparing and supporting external review processes / audits - Supporting due diligence and M&A Remediation and Response - Independently investigating matters related to compliance Reporting - Support preparing clear and concise compliance reports to senior leadership and the Board
