Great Bean Chocolate

Great Bean Chocolate was founded in 2012 by chocolatier and Rhode Island School of Design trained graphic designer Nora Hamerman. This exquisitely rich chocolate starts with organic, fair-trade cacao beans left raw and unroasted to preserve micronutrients and impart a more delicate flavor than traditional chocolate. Next, organic herbs and minerals that enhance the natural health benefits (or ‘beanefits’ as Great Bean likes to say) of cacao are blended into the lightly tempered chocolate. The final product is five flavors of handcrafted chocolate bars named for the mental and physical effects they boost: Bliss, Love, Mineral, Energy and Focus. Great Bean Chocolate's mission is to spread happiness and well-being through chocolate... to give you a 'Higher State of Bean.' The company is based Austin, TX and is sold in stores and cafes from Portland, OR to NYC.
