Founded in 2001, GLIDE (Great Lakes Innovation and Development Enterprise) is dedicated to helping innovators and startups grow successful technology-based businesses that create jobs and generate wealth in the Northeast Ohio (NEO) region. Our mission is to drive business development and commercialization through strategic entrepreneurial support. As we continue to evolve, GLIDE is expanding its services to support qualified advanced manufacturing startups and small businesses. This includes targeted support in talent development, business growth, and commercialization — with a particular focus on sensors and microelectronics. Through partnerships with Lorain County Community College (LCCC) and its PC Campana Center for Ideation & Innovation and SMART Microsystems, GLIDE offers access to prototype development, new product introductions, and testing/assembly services.
