Great Resignation

The pandemic has caused millions around the world to take a hard look at their work-life balance. And many have decided to quit their jobs - facing an uncertain future with it. In an April 28, 2022 piece, Karla Miller, a columnist for the "Washington Post" said, "Most are thrilled with the changes they’ve made; others are concerned about the current economy and what the future holds. But no one expressed a desire to go back to their previous job." She had followed-up with people she had interviewed six months prior. Anthony Bourdain once said, "Without experimentation, a willingness to ask questions and try new things, we shall surely become static, repetitive and moribund." This is the "Great Resignation."
