Kareen Mills, Founder of bottomline. is a former Bank VP who witnessed firsthand the struggles of business owners declined for lending. In the banking industry, guidance, education, and hands-on support are often lacking—bankers work on a performance-driven model with short-term goals, leaving little room for long-term client support.
When a loan is denied, clients are typically sent back to CPAs, CFOs, accountants, and financial consultants for financial coaching. However, with hourly rates averaging $300+, many small business owners find these services cost-prohibitive, leaving them without ongoing guidance.
That’s where Profit & Loss University (PLU) comes in. Designed to be affordable and impactful, PLU offers small business owners a structured and accessible way to master financial literacy, strengthen their bottom line, and transform from declined to bankable.
