Great Southern Waters (GSW) is the premium water company for the Southern Island of New Zealand.
Our fresh water source connects through the foothills of the Southern Alps in a deep confined aquifer that spends over 600 years filtering to us from glaciers high in the mountains.
The town closest to our site is named Tai Tapu, which is derived from the Māori words ‘wai’ which means water, and ‘tapu’ which means sacred
or solemn.
Great Southern Waters is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated company.
