A bit about our history...
We started in April of 2011 as a small group of people with common interest in Javascript trying to get together and share knowledge, experiences and how we faced certain technological challenges. Over the years we tried to organize a few meetups per year aiming to have at least 3 per season.
People became friends, colleagues, organizers, speakers or even sponsors and our topics expanded from plain Javascript to frameworks, web development, testing, user experience, accessibility and not only.
Throughout our history we had the pleasure of hosting to our stage speakers from Greece but also from abroad with different scientific fields and areas of expertise and we are always open for newcomers.
During the challenging Covid era, we held our events online, but we are excited that we are back to being able to meet and greet in person.
In 2019 we funded the GreeceJS Association as a non-profit organization with a board of 5 members who are elected periodically every 2 years.
