Green 2000 ASTCs

The Agricultural Service and Training Centers (ASTCs) are projects developed by Green 2000, an esteemed Israeli-Dutch company, committed to elevating small-scale farmers by providing comprehensive facilities and cutting-edge machinery packages. With initiatives like the ASTCs, we are pioneering the future of agricultural empowerment through innovative solutions that are transforming rural communities and shaping the agricultural landscape. In Côte d’Ivoire, we have four ASTCs, strategically positioned in rural areas (Guitry, Zikisso, Guiembe and Kong) to revolutionize the way we approach agriculture. We are committed to the long-term development of local farming communities. This is why our ASTCs are structured to provide in-depth training, essential know-how, and skilled manpower to thousands of local farmers. Our ASTCs include poultry farms, greenhouses, mushroom farms and aquaculture projects provided to over 5,000 small holders. Through our holistic approach, we enable them to not just survive but thrive by generating real income through the sale of their products. With a focus on innovation and finding solutions to existing problems, our ASTCs create opportunities through commercial and technical support for smallholder farms and communities driving the country's food security and independence. This effort is geared towards transforming community lives by having sustainable solutions that create employment. We are committed to empowering farmers through employment, opportunities and education. Beyond farmers, the aim of the Green 2000 ASTCs is to incorporate agriculture into school curriculums and inspire the next generation to recognise the value of agriculture in sustaining economic growth.
