The Disability Community is ignored when it comes to Climate Conversations. This is our attempt to re-assert the fact that the Climate Crisis is our crisis too. And being the largest minority of the world (17-22%) of the world's population it is our right and duty to be part of the solution.
For a city to be walkable, wheelchair-friendly, equipped with tactile paving, and fitted with accessible public transport, we need a climate that is conducive for outings.
Accessibility goes hand in hand with Sustainability, there is no Climate Justice without Disability Justice.
