Green Forward Industry company information, Employees & Contact Information

About the Green Forward Industry Project The southern Mediterranean region faces increasing economic and environmental pressures. Addressing these requires a shift toward circularity—rethinking how industries operate, consume resources, and engage with the environment. Circular business models can drive innovation, foster local job creation, and strengthen economic resilience by keeping materials in use longer, reducing waste, and opening new business opportunities. Funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Green Forward Industry project runs until 2028 and aims to improve the competitiveness and environmental performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through demonstrating circular economy practices. National-level activities will support SMEs in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia, with targeted interventions in key sectors: automotive (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia), engineering (Jordan), and marble/stone and packaging sectors in Palestine. Activities will demonstrate circular models, build technical capacities, and improve SMEs access to green finance. At the regional level, the project will engage all eight countries—Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia—by integrating circular economy knowledge and practices into education, vocational training, and policy frameworks. This will align policy and skills development across the region and help connect value chains, contributing to a more economically and environmentally resilient Mediterranean region. Green Forward Industry is part of the broader EU-funded Green Forward initiative, implemented at three levels: policy reform (Expertise France), business support (SPARK), and SME technical assistance (UNIDO).
