Green Narratives Uganda (GNU) is a not-for-profit organization leveraging the 3 C’s model (Community Building, Content Creation and Capacity Development) to bridge the “green information gap” in Uganda. We run initiatives like Green Stories Uganda, Debunk Green Falsities, Sustainability Hub Uganda (SHU) Platform, and GNU Creatives Bureau. Our Rationale With a bold vision of breaking down barriers that hinder access to crucial environmental and sustainability information, Green Narratives Uganda (GNU) is a dynamic social impact organization dedicated to transforming the landscape of environmental communication. We specialize in the creation and distribution of premium green content that is both exclusive and actionable, actively engaging and enabling diverse audiences to adopt necessary changes. At GNU, we understand the pressing need to bridge the "green information gap" in the face of climate crises, environmental challenges and the desire for sustainable development. Our purpose is to systematically collect, aggregate, contextualize and disseminate vital green information, ensuring it is accessible, credible and relevant. We are committed to creating dynamic spaces and platforms for timely and authentic information exchanges that empower individuals, organizations and communities to adopt eco-friendly practices and drive sustainable actions.
