GREEN NETWORK UK PLC The core business of Green Network UK plc is the management of electricity and natural gas flows associated with Green Network Group’s activities. In 2018, the company carried out physical and financial optimisation of over 9 TWh of electricity and 400 mcm of natural gas of the Group’s sales in Italy and around 1 TWh of electricity and 150 mcm of natural gas of sales in the United Kingdom. The company’s trading capabilities were initially developed for the Italian territory and have now expanded to most of Europe’s electricity and gas wholesale markets. Today our focus is the continued consolidation of trading, optimisation and risk management for the physical and financial activities of the Group in Italy and the UK, as well as the management of the virtual interconnector flows in Germany. We are present on the European Energy Exchange/ PEGAS and have OTC market access arrangements with major international utilities and banks.
